Job Description
Cook Manager - School Catering - Guildford 
£25,000 per year Approx. £18.32 per working hour Monday-Friday School holidays off
- £25,000 per year
- Equivalent to approximately £18.32 per working hour
- Monday to Friday only
- 7:30am-3:00pm
- 35 hours per week
- Only 39 working weeks per year
- Term time plus inset days
- School holidays off - around 13 weeks away from work across the year
- No evenings
- No weekends
- Free parking on site
- Small team of 4
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school kitchen, leading a small team and ensuring fresh, nutritious meals are prepared and served to a high standard.
Essential requirements- Previous school / education catering experience is essential
- Enhanced DBS is essential
- Previous kitchen management or supervisory experience
- Strong food safety and allergen knowledge
- Confident with ordering, stock control and kitchen administration
- Reliable, organised and able to lead a small team
Work Monday to Friday during the school year and enjoy the school holidays away from work.
