Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality, home-cooked meals and snacks daily for children, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors at Demelza Kent.

Prepare nutritious, comforting meals with a focus on quality, consistency and food safety.

Cook and present meals for a range of dietary needs.

Provide meals and snacks for children, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

Maintain kitchen records, documentation, and food safety standards.

Work flexibly as part of a supportive team, stepping up to run the kitchen when required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or higher.
• Experience in a hospice, care home, hospital, or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cultural, religious, and allergy-related dietary needs.
• Previous experience running or managing a kitchen or a section.
