Conveyancing Paralegal - New Build - Somerset

Regional Law Firm with an excellent reputation and several offices are seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal that specialises in New Build property transactions to join this busy and dynamic legal team.

In this role, you will support the conveyancing process for new construction developments, ensuring smooth and efficient property transfers from developers to buyers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research skills, project management capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of property law.

Your expertise will facilitate accurate document review, legal drafting, and case management, contributing to successful property transactions and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and review of legal documents related to new build property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, and disclosures
• Coordinate with developers, clients, and external agencies to facilitate smooth conveyancing processes
• Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, and tribal regulations as applicable
• Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support project management efforts by tracking transaction progress and deadlines
• Review title reports, land registry entries, and other relevant documentation for accuracy
• Draft correspondence and legal notices with precision and clarity
• Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information and clarify transaction details
• Proofread and transcribe legal documents to maintain high standards of accuracy
• Maintain organized records of all case-related documentation in compliance with firm policies

Requirements

• Paralegal experience in conveyancing or real estate law, with a focus on new build developments
• Experience with legal case management software
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in document review and data entry
