If you're an experienced Conveyancer looking to join a thriving, stable, and highly regarded practice, this opportunity with a well-respected firm in Ringwood offers a busy caseload, strong support, and real scope to grow your career within a long-established firm. The role has come about through the firm's organic growth and continued success. Conveyancing is at the heart of the practice, making up over 50% of fee income, and the client base is varied, with work coming from local, regional, and City clients. The firm has been serving the community for over 200 years, with instructions arriving steadily through reputation, repeat business, and referrals, meaning there's no heavy requirement for business development or networking.
Responsibilities- Manage your own caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, registered and unregistered titles, and new build/plot work.
- Collaborate with experienced paralegals and assistants to maintain high-quality client service while focusing on conveyancing work.
- Work within a team-oriented culture where autonomy is common, but support is readily available.
The team comprises around 50 staff, including Equity and Salaried Partners, solicitors, conveyancers, paralegals, and assistants. Most fee earners are 5+ PQE and trusted to work with autonomy, with collaboration and support central to the firm's culture. There is a clear path for progression, and opportunities to broaden into commercial property work if desired. All four current partners have made partnership since joining the firm, and there is no sense of competition.
Requirements & Qualifications- Experience as a Conveyancer capable of hitting the ground running and managing own files independently.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to the running of the business.
- Ability to work within a busy environment with a focus on high-quality client service.
