Conveyancer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancer to join a long-established, award-winning law firm with an outstanding reputation for residential property work. Recognised as a Leading Firm in the Legal 500, this highly respected practice has been delivering exceptional legal services for more than 150 years and is renowned for its client-focused approach, innovative conveyancing systems and commitment to providing a seamless customer experience. With multiple offices across Yorkshire and a modern, flexible way of working, the firm combines traditional values with cutting-edge technology to deliver high-quality legal services nationwide.
Joining a highly regarded residential property team, you will take responsibility for managing your own varied conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion. Handling a broad range of residential transactions, you will provide clear, practical legal advice, draft and review key legal documentation including contracts, transfer deeds and statutory declarations and ensure clients receive a proactive, efficient service throughout the transaction. You'll also work closely with colleagues across the team, assisting with more complex matters where required while helping to maintain the firm's exceptional standards of client care.
This role would suit an experienced Conveyancer with at least three years' experience independently managing a full residential conveyancing caseload.
You'll have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. The firm is looking for someone with a positive, collaborative approach who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues alike and is happy to provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team.
Experience dealing with new build transactions, acting for corporate purchasers or handling matters involving the Building Safety Act 2022 would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
