The Role

• Lead Siemens PLC and HMI programming (TIA Portal, S7 1200/1500, WinCC)
• Design control system architecture and electrical panels
• Commission systems on site and troubleshoot installations
• Integrate IIoT, SCADA, and data analytics for maximum performance

What We're Looking For

• Proven, confident experience with Siemens PLCs and HMIs - this is essential
• Strong grounding in industrial automation and electrical schematics
• Full UK driving licence and ability to use own transport initially (mileage reimbursed)
• Full, unrestricted right to work in the UK (defence sector compliance)
• Self driven, problem solving mindset

Additional Skills That Stand Out

• SCADA, IIoT, or machine data analytics experience
• Knowledge of other PLC platforms (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)
• Formal qualifications (HNC/HND/BEng) in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering

Important: If successful for an initial period, you will use your own vehicle for site visits (mileage reimbursed). After this, you will receive a company vehicle-giving you flexibility and independence from day one.
