Job Title: Control & Monitoring Lead Specialist

Location: Basildon or Lichfield, with hybrid working - minimum 6 days per month in office, remainder WFH

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Control & Monitoring Lead Specialist to join a leading Platform Services team within the wealth management sector. This is a high-profile role where you will own and execute on the findings from second line Risk & Compliance, Audit, Regulator reviews, and more. You will champion Consumer Duty across all business activities, recommend changes to the operating model, and deliver on key projects supporting strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of assigned business issues and initiatives, driving them to resolution with clear stakeholder communication.
  • Champion Consumer Duty across all business activities, maintaining related documentation and delivering reports for senior management and board meetings.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to improve client communications and investor documentation processes.
  • Provide oversight of procedures and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Deliver on projects supporting strategic objectives, working closely with Production Support, Client Services, and Risk Management teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Service Delivery Management, Supplier/Relationship Management, or a similar control/monitoring function.
  • Strong understanding of wealth and advisor propositions, investment products, and platform technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with reporting to senior management.
  • Desirable: BSc/BA in a relevant field, knowledge of Asset and Wealth Management businesses.
