My client is a reputable building main contractor going through an exciting period of organic growth and off the back of another successful year are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to deliver retirement living projects.
Requirements:- Knowledge of Building Sector.
- Previous employment as a Contacts Manager, Contracts Director, Construction Manager, Operations Manager or Project Director.
- Ideally previous experience working on retirement living / care home / extra care projects or other multiroom / residential sectors schemes.
- May also be open to consider candidates with experience in other building sector projects with a view to transfer skills over.
- Previous Main contractor employment.
- High level of communication skills.
- Effective leader, able to work under own initiative and keep the team focused on its goals and strategic plan and makes sure that they are on target.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
The role will be responsible for the construction management across multiple retirement living projects.
As a national main contractor, there is a requirement to be flexible to travel, in particular they get a lot of projects around the M25 Corridor.
