Role Overview

Our client are currently seeking a Contract Manager to join their industry leading Term Maintenance division to manage their new Defence estate contract. The contract is to deliver electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance via a 3rd party contractor.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting our clients from the pre-planning and pre-programming of works through to completion
  • Writing health and safety plans, method statements and risk assessments, ensuring that all sites have the appropriate documentation
  • Ensuring the smooth running of sites through regular liaison with key stakeholders, supervisors, and sub-contractors
  • Ensuring that the works programme is effectively resourced with labour, plant and materials
  • Monitoring works and performance against the contract to enable accurate submission of monthly invoices and final account settlement
  • Building effective and professional working relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Managing a team of supervisors and support staff, ensuring continuous development of skills by undertaking training needs analysis
  • Undertaking site visits, audit visits and client meetings
  • Ensuring Financial targets are met and implementing changes
Requirements
  • Proactive Contract Manager with experience delivering public sector contracts in the hard services engineering field
  • Solid experience in MS 365 and facilities management workflow systems
  • Experience of working on Term Maintenance contracts or for public bodies would be beneficial
  • Hold NVQ level 4 / HND or above in a construction or engineering-related field
  • CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Safety management qualification such as IOSH or SMSTS
Benefits & Working Arrangements

Hybrid working - 2 office-based days and 3 days work from home/site. Site visits and client meetings will be worked within this schedule.
