Job Description The Contracts Manager will be:- Drafting, reviewing and managing B2B commercial contracts on the sales side
- Leading contract negotiations with customers from independent retailers to large corporates
- Asking the commercial and financial questions others overlook
- Drafting product supply contracts including grocery supply agreements
- Partnering proactively with sales, finance, legal and key stakeholders
- Acting as a trusted commercial adviser to internal teams
- Ensuring contracts are commercially sound and fit for purpose
- Managing contract repositories and tracking key obligations
- Providing clear commercial input and practical guidance across the business
- A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years' experience drafting and managing commercial contracts (sales side)
- Experienced working independently outside a core legal team
- Comfortable and confident in face to face customer engagement
- Experienced in a large corporate/blue chip environment
- Commercially minded with the ability to balance risk and opportunity
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

This is a full time role based in Scunthorpe with a hybrid working pattern (3 days in office, 2 remote).
