Overview

Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: West London

Salary: £80 - 90k (neg DOE), car/allowance and excellent benefits package

Our Client: An integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,000 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting six long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasingly in joint ventures and alliances.

The Role: Responsible for the delivery of £40m of work on one of the largest water treatment works in the UK. Oversee the activities of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and the project delivery teams to ensure that works are delivered on time, to budget and to specification. Maintain a strategic level overview of the project execution and escalate any problems for resolution. Liaise with client's staff. Oversee the risk management process.

Experience: Extensive experience managing multi-million pound contracts and projects. Thorough knowledge of conditions of contract including the NEC suite. Operational, technical and management skills. Demonstrable client facing joint venture experience. Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or construction related discipline. Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives. Problem solver with excellent analytic skills. Able to manage and develop multi-disciplined teams. Experience in the Water, Wastewater, Construction or Process industries is preferred.

Desirable: Chartered status, SMSTS, NEBOSH, MS Project/P6.
