Contracts Manager Wanted!
Our client is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team on a 3 - 6 month Contract. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient delivery of our client's contract, taking full responsibility for all personnel working on that contract. The Contracts Manager must have proven experience specifically in either Mechanical or Electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities for the Contracts Manager:
- Lead and motivate project teams ensuring that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout each area.
- Ensure that all work is compliance in line with contractual obligations, industry, and the company's high standards.
- Ensure that client updates and communication are timely and accurate, and that accounting is transparent throughout the contract.
- Conduct and attend client meetings and interviews and operational plans.
- Establish strong networks both internal and external.
- Ensure that the activities and contractors on site are monitored and that all jobs are completed safely in a timely manner.
- Act as a first point of contact in the event of an emergency to ensure safely of staff and/or mitigate potential damage to premises.
Skills Required for the Contracts Manager:
- Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
- Previous experience of working on NEC 3-4 contracts
- Previous experience of working on healthcare project delivery from contract management perspective
- Recognised Building Services Qualification - ONC/HNC in Building services Engineering
- Strong experience of programme/contract management
- Strong mechanical & electrical systems background to ensure full understanding of systems for installation on designated project.
