About the role

Contracts and Tenders Administrator

The Contracts and Tenders team is a critical part of Bidfood's Customer Development structure, which is responsible for the project management and completion of tenders for existing and new National Account and Freetrade Multiple customers. The team strives for the continuous improvement and development of Bidfood's proposition with National Account and Freetrade Multiple customers. The Contracts and Tenders team seeks to:

As a Contracts and Tenders Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the team inboxes to ensure prompt responses to business queries, maintaining our CRM system, and acting as a central contact for certain customer queries.

You will work across our different sectors to ensure an up to date and robust database for the company's Terms & Conditions, running regular reports and audits which will be shared at a senior level. You will support the creation of customer facing Terms & Conditions documents, working alongside our legal team and using established templates and obtaining necessary authorisations.

You will be responsible for monitoring various websites to ensure no tender opportunities are missed, maintaining a database of all opportunities.

This is in addition to the support you will provide the wider Contracts & Tenders team for team projects, tender submissions and meetings.

As part of this role you will work closely with the Central Support functions, National Account Managers, Finance, Coding, Corporate Procurement, Marketing, Supply Chain and Technical Services to ensure end to end processes are completed in line with their requirements.

This is an ideal role for a candidate just beginning their career as there is scope for development and progression. To be successful in this role you will need to use your own initiative and work well as part of a team. You will have good PC literacy skills with an intermediate level of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Outlook and Word. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate at all levels. You will be organised and able to prioritise workload whilst meeting all deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow existing processes is essential.
