API / Integration Development- Strong proficiency in Java for building modern microservices
- API Design: Understanding of API design principles and architectural styles such as REST and GraphQL
- HTTP Requests: Proficiency in making HTTP requests, handling API responses, and managing API rate limits
- Security: Knowledge of API authentication methods and security best practice
- GCP Services: Familiarity with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub for data handling and analysis
- Data Integration: Ability to integrate data from various GCP sources using tools like BigQuery external tables and federated queries
- Security and Compliance: Understanding of data security practices, including encryption and access controls
- Azure Services: Proficiency in Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure Blob Storage
- Apache Kafka: Understanding of Apache Kafka, including its architecture, components, and data streaming capabilities
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerisation and Kubernetes for orchestration.
- Exposure to cloud platforms - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure
- Experience with automated testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or Pact.
- Commitment to writing reliable, maintainable, and well-tested code
