Contract: Navision 2016 Engineer - Remote/Outside IR35

• Rate: £450 per day Outside IR35
• Location: Birmingham HQ - Remote first policy - First 2 Weeks Onsite
• Duration: 3 months initial - with extensions

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics NAV 9 Developer to join our team. This is a hands-on technical role focused exclusively on NAV 2016 (Nav 9) - not Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will play a key role in maintaining, customising, and optimising our clients existing NAV 9 environment to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance solutions within Microsoft Dynamics NAV 9.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Customise C/AL code, forms, reports, and data structures within NAV 9.
• Integrate NAV with other internal systems and external applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for NAV 9 users.
• Participate in upgrade planning and data migration projects (while keeping NAV 9 operational).

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a NAV Developer specifically on NAV 9/NAV 2016.
• Strong proficiency in C/AL development.
• Familiarity with classic NAV architecture, data schema, and native client environment.
• Understanding of SQL Server, data management, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
