We are recruiting for a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturer in FMCG manufacturing and packaging.

We are looking for an Electrical bias / competent shift engineer

We seek a talented and qualified individual who is a great problem solver with continuous improvement ideas, to thrive in a proactive electrical bias front-line maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities - Contract Electrical Maintenance shift cover, adhoc shifts, primarily nights

  • To service, adjust, and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  • To examine machinery and equipment, report on condition and performance, and plan actions for improvements.
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to scheduled plans.
  • Work as part of a team to keep the site running to world-class standards.

Qualifications & Requirements - Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar manufacturing qualification.
  • Or equivalent in electrical or mechanical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background.
  • A competent electrical engineering professional with technical experience, problem-solving skills, and PLC/automation experience. Ability to produce safe systems of work.
  • Capable of contributing to development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, process, or service.
  • This is an all-round hands-on maintenance electrical role, including conveyors and end-of-line packing processing.
  • Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organization of the engineering plant are essential.
