Job Title: Continuous Laser Print Operator

A leading provider of direct mail solutions is looking for a Continuous Laser Print Operator to join its production team.

Main purpose of the role:

The position will require you to work on a continuous Nipson and cut sheet fed Ricoh / Develop laser printers. The primary purpose of this role is to set up, adjust, safely operate and maintain programmable printers. While printing, the Operator will ensure each product meets job instruction specification and passes relevant QC checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Nipson / Ricoh / Develop laser printers automated positioning by performing necessary calculations
• Set up and operate a tecnau / Spedo / Laurenti sheeter and a Hunker reel stand and unwind
• Monitor assigned machine to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed to maintain specification and operating speed
• Perform quality checks and stack finished products according to job specification
• Record production data with accuracy on company timesheets
• Run equipment at optimal level at all times to meet job target dates

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following

• 2+ years experience with laser printers; preference for 2+ years continuous laser printer experience
• Strong visual skills with an eye for detail
• A good team ethic and willingness to pitch in whenever necessary
• Physical fitness required for this role
• Commitment to own work being of the highest standard
• Demonstrated commitment to Good Health & Safety practices
• Maintenance of a clean & tidy production area
• Team player attitude
• Ability to work independently to a high standard
• Direct Mail experience beneficial
• Flexibility to do flexible working hours and occasional overtime on weekends

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday Friday. Shifts 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm
