Job Description

We're looking for someone truly special, not just a support assistant, but a partner in crime, cheerleader, and steady guiding hand for an amazing 12 year-old girl. She's active, funny, full of personality, and ready to build a great bond with someone who can match her energy and bring a little magic to her day.

The Role

We are seeking a Female Child Support Assistant for 20 hours per week, supporting before and after school.

Hours

Monday to Friday
Morning: 7:15am - 9:00am
Afternoon: 3:30pm - 5:30/6:00pm

(Some flexibility required - occasional variations and extra evening hours may be available.)

Morning Adventures
  • Helping her get up, dressed, and ready for the day
  • Supporting personal hygiene routines
  • Preparing breakfast together
  • Getting everything organised for school
  • Taking her to school (walking or driving)
Afternoon Missions
  • School pick-up
  • Preparing snacks or light meals
  • Supporting with homework (and maybe making it a bit more fun!)
  • Ensuring her safety and wellbeing at all times
Who We're Looking For

You'll be someone who:

  • Has a great sense of humour (essential - she does!)
  • Is patient, kind, and calm under pressure
  • Can balance warmth with a no-nonsense approach
  • Is reliable and ready to make a genuine difference
  • Holds a full driving licence
  • Has (or is willing to obtain) a DBS check

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Important

This role is open to female applicants only (in line with the Equality Act 2010, due to personal care requirements).

A Bit More Info
  • This is a part-time, permanent role
  • Some days you may not be required for both school runs
  • Occasional extra hours may be available

If you're someone who wants more than "just a job", and likes the idea of being a positive, steady, and fun presence in a young person's life, we'd love to hear from you.
