We have a vacancy for a Consultant Stroke Medicine in Buckinghamshire, initially offered on a 12-month NHS Fixed Term Contract.
Our client, an integrated Trust in Buckinghamshire, has recently expanded their Stroke service and opened a second cath lab, maintaining an A grade rating for SSNAP. They are one of eight Accountable Care Systems nationally and are ranked in the top 40 Trusts in the UK.
Vacancy Details
The successful candidate will join a high-performing Stroke Service, which has consistently achieved SSNAP grade A and ranks among the best in the country for hyperacute stroke care, including thrombolysis. The service offers 24/7 Mechanical Thrombectomy (MT) across partner sites, with transfer rates currently at 5% and increasing. The Trust is in the top 10% nationally for 'Door in Door Out' times.
Responsibilities include maintaining high clinical standards in Stroke patient management, sharing in the day-to-day management of the Stroke Service, teaching junior staff, participating in clinical governance, audits, and CPD activities.

- Base salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum for 10 Programmed Activities per week
