Are you a Consultant with experience of working with communicable disease surveillance systems and programs and looking for your next challenge ? We are recruiting for a 6 month contract position for a non-profit international organisation in Geneva.Your responsibilities:
1. develop the HIV, Tuberculosis and malaria (HTM) integration domain in the surveillance MM including an assessment tool for the HTM-EWS domain
2. co-lead implementation in at least four "pilot" countries including MM application, assessment of maturity, gaps, and prioritized recommendations for integration and strengthening; and
3. lead drafting report
Job Requirements:
- Advanced university degree in epidemiology or other public health-related field with strong background in communicable disease surveillance; and/or
- Medical degree with advanced training in applied epidemiology focused on early warning surveillance, outbreak detection and response, Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP), Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS), etc
- Strong track record of professional and practical experience in planning, implementation, technical support, and monitoring and oversight of communicable disease surveillance systems and programs, including via consultancy and/or linked to donor organizations.
- Strong track record of practical system design and implementation experience in disease surveillance and/or monitoring & evaluation of public health programs, including related fields HMIS, Surveillance, digital health, workforce.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience post-graduate experience, proven high performance in communication and coordination within an organization and with partners.
- Knowledge of HIV, TB, and/or malaria disease surveillance and related data systems, in addition to integrated disease surveillance, integrated disease surveillance and response (IDSR), collaborative surveillance.
- An excellent knowledge of English is required
