Are you a qualified teacher or an experienced Construction / Multitrades professional ready to make a real impact?

We are recruiting a Construction Tutor for a welcoming SEMH school supporting young people aged 11-16 who need a fresh start. This is a long-term agency role with a clear route to permanent employment.

The Role

• Deliver engaging construction / multitrades sessions (carpentry, basic brickwork, tools, site skills)
• Teach and manage small groups (6-8 secondary pupils)
• Support students with SEMH and behavioural needs
• Promote positive behaviour in a structured environment
• Maintain high health & safety standards

Requirements

QTS / QTLS

OR

Proven experience delivering construction or multitrades sessions

Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)

Experience working with young people with SEMH / behavioural needs

Strong behaviour management skills
