The Role
This growing construction team is known for its involvement in complex, high-value projects across both public and private sectors, including energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and development. The team handles a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, and this role can be tailored depending on your experience and interests.
You'll work closely with experienced Partners and Legal Directors on a broad range of construction issues including:
Drafting and negotiating construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, etc.)
Development agreements, consultant appointments, collateral warranties
Advising on live project issues and dispute avoidance
Supporting adjudication, arbitration, and litigation where necessary
The Ideal Candidate
1-8 years' PQE with construction law experience (either contentious, non-contentious or mixed)
Solid grounding at a well-regarded regional, national or international firm
Excellent technical and drafting skills, with a commercial approach
Strong client-facing and communication skills
