Construction Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our clients growing team. This role will suit a driven and highly organised professional with a strong background in construction and proven experience working on ESB-related projects or utility infrastructure interfaces.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of residential construction projects
• Coordinate project schedules, subcontractors, materials, and site activities
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, design teams, utility providers, and subcontractors
• Oversee project budgets, progress reporting, and cost control
• Ensure all works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and programme deadlines
• Manage project risk, site logistics, and quality assurance
• Coordinate and monitor ESB-related works, utility connections, and associated programme requirements
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures
• Lead site meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
• Resolve issues efficiently to keep projects progressing smoothly

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction
• Strong background in residential construction projects
• Experience with ESB works, utility coordination, or projects involving electrical infrastructure
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and timelines
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Full clean driver's licence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
