Construction Procurement Senior Buyer - Highways Infrastructure

Leeds or Manchester Up to £50,000 + Package

If you're a procurement professional with experience in highways or civil infrastructure, this role is designed for you. You'll join a well-established highways infrastructure organisation and play a key role in delivering procurement across major transport programmes with long term funding and visibility.

You will sit within a mature procurement function and take ownership of construction procurement activity across subcontract, materials and services packages. You'll work closely with commercial and delivery teams, applying NEC and JCT contracts to deliver compliant, value driven procurement outcomes and build strong supplier relationships.

• You will support procurement delivery across major highways and transport infrastructure programmes
• You will manage end-to-end procurement activity including sourcing, tendering and contract award
• You will work with NEC and JCT contracts across subcontract and supplier packages
• You will partner with commercial and project teams to deliver effective procurement outcomes
• You will help improve construction procurement processes and best practice

This role is ideal for you if

• You have construction or infrastructure procurement experience within highways or transport
• You've worked with NEC and/or JCT contracts
• You've supported end-to-end procurement activity at buyer or senior buyer level
• You enjoy stakeholder and supplier engagement
