Construction Manager

I'm currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join a Tier 1 Fit Out Contractor delivering commercial projects in St Albans.

The role will involve leading the delivery of CAT A and CAT B commercial fit out projects, working closely with the wider project team through to completion.

The Role:

• Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of CAT A & CAT B fit out projects.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Driving the construction programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Managing quality, health & safety and overall site performance.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team.
• Coordinating works from pre-construction through to practical completion.
• Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and in line with programme requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Construction Manager on commercial fit out projects.
• Strong CAT A & CAT B experience.
• Comfortable managing multiple subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong understanding of programme, quality and health & safety.
• Experience working for a Tier 1 or established fit out contractor would be beneficial.
• Good communication skills with the ability to lead a project from start to finish.
