Construction Manager

Our Kerry based clients are presently recruiting for a Construction Manager. Working on site, you will oversee site operations, coordinating teams, contractors and resources to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will manage compliance, lead meetings, liaise with stakeholders, monitor performance, and ensure all construction activities meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Construction Manager and support delivery of site projects across County Kerry
• Coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Prepare and implement Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
• Lead site meetings and liaise with design, planning, and health and safety teams
• Attend and manage site visits from project initiation to completion
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor performance, manage risks, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Promote continuous improvement and Lean construction practices

Qualifications & Experience

• Third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
• 3-5 years' experience in a similar construction or site management role
• Strong technical understanding of construction processes and project delivery
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
• Proficiency in project planning tools and Microsoft Office applications
