Job Description

Join a dynamic team delivering a high-profile £50 million new build scheme in Bristol. This exciting project requires a skilled Construction Logistics Manager to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency on-site.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics operations for this major construction project. You will play a critical role in managing the supply chain, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and waste management.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely and efficient operations.

  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Optimise site access, traffic management, and storage to minimise disruptions.

  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports to project leadership.

  • Resolve logistical challenges proactively to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on large-scale construction projects (£20m+).

  • Strong knowledge of construction site operations and supply chain management.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • CSCS card and relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH, or equivalent).

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable:
  • Experience with new build schemes.

  • Familiarity with Bristol's local construction landscape.

  • Proficiency in logistics software or project management tools.
