Job Description
Construction Equipment Delivery Driver (7.5t) - Kent, ME2 4QW

As part of a depot-based team, you will play a physically active role delivering and collecting construction equipment across London and the surrounding areas, combining driving, loading, unloading and handling a wide range of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Driving a 3.5 or 7.2 tonne van in-and-around Kent, South East London and surrounding areas
  • Delivering, collecting, loading/unloading construction and powered access equipment
  • Handling basic paperwork and administration using a PDA
  • Building relationships with our customers
  • Learning our range of equipment and the industry

Support and training are provided every step of the way, with opportunities for advancement into warehouse, workshop or office roles.

Requirements
  • A valid C1 driving licence, with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Customer service experience from either the construction industry, building materials/supplies, equipment, plant, power tools, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, motor vehicles, farming or similar
  • A good work ethic with honesty and integrity
  • Enthusiasm and a good sense of humour
  • A professional, proactive, and flexible approach
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to upholding the company's reputation for quality and service
  • Enjoy being active and outdoors with the physical fitness to safely handle manual loading and unloading of equipment
