Construction Apprenticeship

The Banks Group is a family business based in County Durham, specializing in property development and housebuilding across the North of England and Scotland.

We are seeking a Trainee Assistant Site Manager to join our growing apprenticeship programme. This role offers a clear path to a Level 3 or Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor apprenticeship, with on site training, coursework and assessments to develop your skills and knowledge in site management.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support site managers on development sites throughout the Northeast
• Gain knowledge of project delivery, including health, safety, environmental standards, programme, budget, time, quality, design, technical and customer service aspects
• Support the construction of high quality, sustainable homes that meet the needs of our customers

Entry Requirements

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 9 (or Scottish National 5 if based in Scotland)
• Plus 1 A Level or 2 AS Levels (40 points) or BTEC National in a relevant construction/engineering qualification, or T Level, or an equivalent qualification
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to our sites
• Genuine interest in developing a career within construction and site management
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a hands on environment
