Concrete Finisher

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team on construction projects in Wexford . The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years' proven experience in concrete finishing and will be confident working to high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finish concrete surfaces to a high-quality standard.
  
• Set, level, and finish concrete floors, slabs, walls, foundations, and other structures.
  
• Operate hand and power tools used in concrete finishing.
  
• Smooth, level, and texture concrete surfaces using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  
• Carry out edging, trowelling, screeding, floating, and other finishing works.
  
• Ensure concrete is finished according to project specifications and required tolerances.
  
• Assist with concrete pouring, placement, and preparation as required.
  
• Repair and rectify defects in concrete surfaces.
  
• Work effectively as part of a construction team.
  
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  
• Follow all site health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Concrete Finisher.
  
• Strong practical knowledge of concrete finishing techniques.
  
• Experience working on commercial, residential, civil, or large-scale construction projects.
  
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  
• Good knowledge of construction site health and safety requirements.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors and in demanding site conditions.
  
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
  
• Relevant construction qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
