Computational Scientist: Dislocation Fatigue Modeling

SONICOM is looking for a motivated Research Assistant or Associate in Computational Modelling of Dislocation Plasticity and Fatigue. You will work on an EPSRC-funded project investigating thermal fatigue in high-temperature alloys used in aerospace applications.

The role involves developing advanced computational models and collaborating with leading academic partners. Candidates should have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and practical modelling experience.
