About the Role:

Are you a compliance professional passionate about making a difference? Our client is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their dynamic team in Amsterdam! You'll play a vital role in ensuring operations are align with regulatory requirements and contribute to their business mission.


Our client is an industry-leading, mission-driven fund based in Amsterdam. This is your chance to join their collaborative and dynamic international team representing 25 different nationalities.


Responsibilities:

  • Advise colleagues and management on compliance matters
  • Participate in risk assessments and product approvals
  • Design and perform compliance monitoring tasks
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of regulatory changes
  • Contribute to regulatory evidencing and support other teams in demonstrating compliance with regulations


Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of directly relevant experience in the financial sector
  • A Bachelor or Master of Law
  • Strong knowledge of AIFMD, MAR/D, Wft, and Wwft
  • Experience with implementing regulatory changes and compliance monitoring in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Client-focused team player
  • Fluency in English. Proficiency in Dutch is desirable but not a hard requirement.


Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with regulations such as EMIR, GDPR, Sustainable Finance Regulations, and Benchmark Regulation will be a plus
