The Compliance & Governance Manager role is key to ensuring the Practice stays compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements, including CQC standards and clinical governance frameworks.
The successful candidate will ideally have Primary Care experience; however, managerial experience and meeting the person specification are acceptable in lieu of Primary Care experience.

Main dutiesThe role involves working in partnership with the Practice CQC Manager / GP Partner, Practice Manager and wider Management Team to proactively manage policies, audits and risk assessments to maintain high standards of compliance. The postholder will also lead the formal complaints process, co-ordinating investigations, writing responses and contributing to service improvement.

Person Specification Qualifications and training- Level 4 or 5 qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 4 or Foundation Degree) in a relevant field (e.g. HR, Business Administration); or equivalent qualification; or equivalent level of relevant knowledge and skills
