Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team in Wandsworth, London. In this crucial role, you will provide tailored support to students with complex needs, including those exhibiting challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities- Support individual students in their learning and daily activities, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment.
- Implement personalized learning plans and strategies that enhance academic and social progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to monitor student development and adapt support as necessary.
- Promote positive behaviour management techniques, encouraging students to engage effectively within the classroom setting.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders about their needs and achievements.
- Proven experience working 1-1 with students exhibiting challenging behaviour in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of best practices in supporting children with complex needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Positive, resilient attitude with a genuine commitment to improving the educational experience of vulnerable learners.
