We are hiring for our client, a leading Dublin commercial team, seeking an Associate to join their Competition & Antitrust team. This role is ideal for solicitors looking to take the next step in their career, working on high-profile, complex competition matters across multiple sectors, including technology, finance, and public procurement.

The Role

• Handle all aspects of competition and antitrust work, including merger control, competition investigations, compliance, State aid, and disputes.
• Work on foreign investment screening and public procurement matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the commercial team on high-value, complex cases.

The Person

• 2+ years PQE in competition law.
• Experience in a large corporate law firm.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and ability to manage workload effectively.
• Experience in public procurement and/or foreign direct investment highly desirable but not essential.
