The Role
As a key member of the team, you will support UK-listed clients across a full spectrum of governance responsibilities, including:
- Preparing board meeting agendas and digital board packs
- Attending board meetings and drafting minutes
- Drafting AGM Notices and related shareholder documentation
- Reviewing annual report disclosures against corporate governance codes
- Maintaining digital statutory books and records
- Filing statutory and regulatory notifications with relevant authorities
- Managing Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) records
- Supporting transactions such as IPOs and other corporate events
- Conducting technical research on legal, regulatory and governance matters

About You
You'll thrive in this role if you are eager to learn, proactive and comfortable working in a professional, fast-paced environment.
We're looking for someone with:
- At least 18 months' experience in a governance role
- Active progress toward the CGI qualification
- Minimum 2:1 degree in law, finance, history, English, or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Word formatting
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act 2006
- Experience in a professional office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational skills
- A curious, proactive approach to problem-solving
- A collaborative, flexible attitude
- A willingness to grow, share and learn from mistakes
- The ability to earn trust quickly with both clients and colleagues
