Assistant or Community Health and Care Assistant in the private division - unit - 80% As part of your role within a multidisciplinary care team, for different units of the private division, in general medicine or acute care, you support patients in their daily journey. The private division seeks to strengthen and develop the role of ASSC within its teams. With your strong ability to position yourself, you are capable of developing and enhancing the role within the service. You demonstrate leadership and actively contribute to the evolution of services in the private division and the responsibilities of nursing staff. You assist patients with their daily activities and deliver care while adapting to their needs and pace. You communicate appropriately with patients, who you know how to listen to and reassure when needed. In a good spirit of teamwork, you report your interventions to the team, perform medical-technical acts that fall within your competencies independently, such as vital signs measurement, preparing medications, changing dressings and injections, and participate actively in the prevention of issues related to pain, pressure ulcers, falls, and infections, in collaboration with other health professionals. Furthermore, you assist in maintaining the equipment, furniture, and following up on the files of your patients, carrying out logistical activities within your unit related to your profession. You hold a CFC as an assistant in community health and care, have your valid rights in the canton of Geneva, and have demonstrated your technical skills in the provision of care. You are recognized as a professional for your ease with both patients and the care team. You are a reactive, organized person with good stress and priority management skills and can analyze clinical situations and adapt to the context as well as to unforeseen events inherent in the activity of a care unit. Your abilities to work collaboratively allow you to work hand in hand with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. You ensure precise and rigorous communication within the teams, participate in the supervision and clinical teaching of new nursing staff and other health professionals.
