Community First Aider (Warwickshire)

Overview

St John Ambulance is looking to enhance its volunteering offer by providing community first aid and education. We seek individuals who are passionate about helping others, care for their communities, and want to make a difference. As a Community First Aider, you'll deliver first aid to those in need during local events and educate the public, helping to spread the message that First Aid Saves Lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid to those in need at local events.
• Deliver first aid education to the public.
• Engage with community partners, helping to grow membership and fundraising efforts.
• Attend weekly planning meetings in Rugby, Nuneaton or Bedworth.

Qualifications & Training

No previous experience is required; all necessary training, including induction and role specific courses, will be provided. Personal growth courses are also available. We expect volunteers to demonstrate passion, care for the community, and a commitment to making a difference.

Locations & Schedule

Positions are available in Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Atherstone.

Induction and training dates are to be confirmed:

• Welcome Event (Induction) - date, time and location to be advised.
• Training for role - date, time and location to be advised.

Weekly meetings are held in Rugby, Nuneaton and Bedworth; choose the location that is most convenient for you.
