Community Education Site Operations & Safety Associate

Responsibilities- Site Security & Access Control: Serve as the primary 'gatekeeper' for the facility. Operate the secure entrance system, verify visitor identification, and ensure all District safety protocols are strictly followed during out-of-school hours.
- Student Accountability & Transitions: Manage the daily sign-in/sign-out process, maintain accurate attendance records, and coordinate the safe transfer of students to parents or authorized guardians.
- Front-Line Communication: Act as the first point of contact for the public. Greet families with a welcoming presence, answer multi-line phones, and accurately record or transfer vital information to staff.
- Operational Support: Monitor the building to maintain a safe and organized environment. Assist with site setup/cleanup and ensure that all program areas are ready for student use.
- Program Assistance: Provide secondary support to instructors by helping supervise students and assisting with classroom tasks to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Must pass a background check.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Reliable transportation to the assigned work site.
- Previous experience with secure access systems or front-desk operations.
- Experience in safety-conscious environments.
- Experience interacting with diverse groups of children, adults, and families.

Working non-school days, evenings, weekend days, and evenings.
Rate of Pay$11.40 - $15.00 per hour.
This position will be filled on the basis of the experience, competency, and qualifications of the applicant and the needs of the District. District 77 complies with state and federal fair employment regulations.
