We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Sheffield Wednesday Community team as a Community Coach. This post is to lead on SWFCCP participation departments delivery.The Participation Department has 3 key pillars: Primary School Delivery, Football Development & SEND.This exciting opportunity will require successful applicants to deliver creative and engaging sessions. The role requires an extremely organised, proactive individual who plans ahead and is motivated through positive impact on participants.You should be passionate about the development of young peoples skills and aspirations through education and football, enjoy teaching and delivering innovative coaching sessions.
Responsibilities- Delivery of high quality PE lessons, extra curricular, football coaching & PLPS sessions.
- Collaborate with SWFC CP internal departments to implement high quality PE.
- Increasing participation opportunities in football to increase physical activity levels
- Create positive news stories & case studies from your delivery.
- Implementing innovative intervention & high impact schemes of work.
- Delivery on football holiday camps.
- Ensure all activities are correctly monitored with the appropriate risk assessment and health and safety measures.
- Willingness to improve through CPD and courses.
- The wellbeing of young people is paramount at the SWFCCP, you will be expected to understand safeguarding policies and procedures.
