Contract: Fixed term contract, until 31 March 2026.
Interviews will take place on 7 July 2025.
About the roleThis position focuses on enabling others to provide effective early support by combining advice expertise with training skills and the ability to build a peer network of confident Advice First Aiders in community settings across the city.
The role is key to our efforts to address poverty and health inequality by empowering individuals and communities to act earlier. You will deliver high-quality training and briefings to upskill volunteers and workers-particularly in foodbank and outreach environments-so they can confidently identify issues, offer initial guidance, and refer to specialist help. The work is closely linked to our Beyond Foodbanks partnership.
This role is currently funded until March 2026. We are seeking additional funding to expand Advice First Aid citywide. The successful candidate may have the opportunity to shape and lead a future programme team if funding is secured.
