Main duties of the job

We are currently seeking an experiencedAdult Audiologist to support our community service in Manchester and Kent. This isan excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded independent healthcareprovider delivering specialist audiology clinics in partnership withNHS trusts.

Job responsibilities
  • Conducting audiological assessments in line with national guidelines.
  • Supporting the diagnosis andearly intervention of hearing impairments in adults.
  • Providing family-centred careand contributing to multi-disciplinary pathways.
  • Ensuring accurate and timelyclinical documentation using EMIS and/or NHS systems.
Person Specification Qualifications
  • HCPC Registration
  • AHCS (Academy for Healthcare Science) registration
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to work independently within a community-based service.
Experience
  • Previous experience in an audiology setting working with patients aged 18 and older
  • Experience working in an IQIPS-accredited department
  • NHS Band 6 level or above, or equivalent experience in an independent setting
