Our client is a prominent environmental company who offer a variety of HVAC and water treatment services to clients across the UK. They are now looking for an experienced and hard-working Commissioning Engineer based in and around the Blackpool area. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out validations and balancing air and water systems on a variety of contract types with experience working on hospital sites. Previous experience validating critical ventilation systems in line with HTM guidelines will also be essential. Applications from Fleetwood, Kirkaham, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lytham St Annes and the surrounding areas will be considered.
Qualifications & Experience- Must have experience in inspecting and balancing air and water systems
- Must have experience carrying out validations on air and water systems.
- Previous experience working on critical ventilation systems is essential.
- Proven ability to analyse schematic drawings and survey reports in order to commission system correctly.
- Must have a good water treatment, chemical, technical and maintenance background.
- Must be fully conversant in relevant health and safety and compliance legislation specifically HTM-0301 guidelines.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Competent in using the Microsoft office package.
- A good working knowledge of the water industry.
- Experience working in a water treatment commissioning role within the water treatment industry essential.
- Carrying out commissioning duties on air and water systems, including balancing, inspection and validations.
- Calibrating equipment to accurately balance water systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
- Carry out service work strictly in-keeping with client's specifications.
- Conduct training of staff when required.
- Inspecting project installs when required.
- Produce reports and prepare quotations.
- Undertaking some water treatment duties to suit business needs.
- Maintaining a professional working relationship with the company's clients.
