Focus Engineering is currently looking for a Commissioning / Field Service Engineer for a manufacturer of machines, active in the Food Industry in the Netherlands.
This concerns a vacancy to become permanently employed at one of our clients. You have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.
One of our clients is an international manufacturer of machines with 250 employees in this establishment. They build single machines and complete production lines for the food industry with a focus on the chocolate and cacao industry. Within their projects they work with Siemens TIA Portal and in some projects with Allen Bradley.
The job:
- You are involved in configuring of PLC/SCADA and HMI systems within custom-made projects in the Food industry;
- You are responsible for (in-house) testing and commissioning of PLC / SCADA / HMI software systems (Siemens TIA Portal/Allen Bradley);
- You are responsible for service and troubleshooting on location at the client (worldwide);
- You will be working for a minimum of 60% of the time abroad for commissioning (maximum 4 weeks per trip).
Who are you?
- You have a degree in the field of Industrial Automation, Electronics, Control System or similar;
- You have working experience with automation systems (PLC/SCADA/HMI);
- You are fluent in English (writing and speaking);
- You are willing to relocate to the Netherlands and travel for 60% of the year to client locations.
What will you earn?
- Base salary between EUR 46.000,- and EUR 65.000,- gross per year;
- Attractive extra allowances for being abroad, that can double your base salary;
- 40 paid holidays;
- Focus Engineering will guide you in relocation to the Netherlands (finding accommodation and more);
- 30% ruling: this means you will not pay any tax over the first 30% of your income in the Netherlands.
