Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Commis Waiter to join the pre opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an elegant, Michelin starred dining experience.

Typical Day Tasks
  • Respond to guest enquiries with courtesy, efficiency, and professional discretion
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of menu items, beverages, and service offerings
  • Follow established reporting and escalation procedures with accuracy and timeliness
  • Uphold Hilton grooming and presentation standards, including uniform, cleanliness, and personal hygiene
  • Handle incoming calls professionally, ensuring messages are recorded accurately and relayed promptly
  • Complete all opening, closing, and side duties efficiently and to defined standards
  • Maintain all service equipment, crockery, and utensils in immaculate, clean, and polished condition
  • Ensure cleaning materials and chemicals are correctly requisitioned, stored, and used
  • Maintain spotless, sanitised service and back of house areas throughout and at the conclusion of service
  • Replenish service supplies, including tableware, glassware, linen, and condiments, as required
  • Comply fully with hotel security procedures, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation

Preferred Background
  • Previous experience within a luxury or ultra luxury hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and fine dining presentation
  • Understanding of Food Hygiene and safety regulations
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport items up to 50 lbs. within a dynamic restaurant setting
