As a Commis Chef at our Covent Garden Hotel, you will have the exciting opportunity to work alongside our talented culinary team in a fast-paced and energetic kitchen environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain comprehensive experience across various sections of the kitchen, from preparation to plating. You will be instrumental in creating and delivering delicious dishes that uphold our high standards and delight our guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items across different kitchen sections.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen by efficiently completing assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality food service.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen activities and menu development.
• Uphold the presentation and taste quality of dishes as per Firmdale standards.

What you Need

• Previous experience in a similar culinary role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for food.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop culinary skills in a high-energy setting.
