Salary: £55,000 to £70,000

Experience: 5 years' PQE

Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor into its growing team in Oldham.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys running matters with autonomy, building strong client relationships, and working on a broad mix of commercial property work in a supportive, down to earth environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion
• Handling acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold commercial property
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, renewals, licences and related documentation
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters, including lease variations and assignments
• Supporting on development related work where required, including site set up and plot sales (where relevant)
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver a responsive, commercial service to clients

What We're Looking For Essential

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
• Around 5 years' PQE in commercial property (or equivalent experience)
• Confident managing files with minimal supervision
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
• Commercial, client focused approach and clear communication

Desirable

• Experience of acting for a mix of SMEs, owner managed businesses and investors
• Experience of development work or secured lending (helpful but not essential)
