Commercial Property Solicitor - Position Overview:
Office is in Luton (with occasional travel to Berkhamsted)
Manage a varied commercial property caseload, build client relationships, and help grow the team. Experience with land acquisition and development is helpful but not essential.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Solicitor:
- Handle sales, purchases, leases/lease extensions, assignments, surrenders, alterations, securitisation/lending, and deeds of easement.
- (Where applicable) support option agreements, conditional contracts, s.106, land acquisitions, development projects and plot sales.
- Run searches and Land Registry submissions; provide clear written/oral advice.
- Develop work through networking/marketing; manage risk, compliance and client expectations.
- Support/mentor junior colleagues and contribute to BD, CPD and local events.
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor (7-10 years' PQE in commercial property).
- Strong experience across sales, purchases, leases, securitisation and lease transactions.
- Excellent client care, organisation and communication; confident with case management and MS Office.
- Land acquisition/development and development funding experience.
- Knowledge of Lexcel requirements.
