We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Office Supervisor looking after our 4 Central London properties - DoubleTree by Hilton London West End, DoubleTree by Hilton London Victoria, 100 Queen's Gate Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton & Trafalgar St James Curio Collection by Hilton.
The Role
The primary objective of the role is to maximise Conference and Events revenue for the cluster through pro-active and reactive selling and commercial management strategies.
Other accountabilities include:
- Supporting the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities in group bookings, conferences, and events.
- Developing tailored event proposals and presentations that meet client objectives while maximizing venue revenue.
- Negotiating and closing contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with both client expectations and company revenue goals.
- Actively managing existing accounts and nurturing relationships to foster repeat business and client loyalty.
- Supporting the quoting, planning, and execution of conferences, group events, and meetings from initial inquiry to event completion for the hotels.
- Ensuring all aspects of quoting for conferences, group, meetings, and events are managed for Curio London, with smooth handovers to the on-property planning team after contracts are signed.
- Collaborating with internal departments (e.g., catering, audiovisual, and operations) to meet all event requirements.
- Creating and maintaining group booking contracts, ensuring terms are met and final payments are processed promptly.
- Monitoring group booking patterns and adjusting allocations to optimize hotel occupancy and satisfaction.
- Managing event logistics including room setups, timelines, catering, technical equipment, and staffing.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and swift issue resolution.
- Responding to all group/meeting quotations within 2 hours of receipt, involving stakeholders as necessary, in line with company standards.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be a strong communicator, deliver exceptional client service, be highly organized, and able to prioritize workload. Experience with systems like Delphi FDC or similar is highly advantageous.
