We partner with over 500 sports publishers and social content creators, reaching more than 130 million unique users and engaging 37 million sports fans via social channels each month. Over the past 12 months, Snack Media have expanded into the US market. We're now focused on our next phase of growth - expanding into the Netherlands.


You'll be part of our wider Commercial Team, responsible for generating millions of pounds in advertising revenue across our websites and social platforms. Our team is known for its creativity, exceptional client service, and deep expertise in our verticals. We are collaborative, agile, and thrive on challenges. You'll also have the support of our Ad Operations, Creative & Insights, Content, Social, and Marketing teams - all of whom are dedicated to exceeding targets and delivering on client KPIs.


The Role: Commercial Manager


As a Commercial Manager, your primary objective will be to establish Snack Media as the go-to partner for advertising and marketing budgets within your designated region, with a key focus on the Dutch market.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and grow relationships with clients and agencies across both endemic and non-endemic sectors.
  • Maximise commercial opportunities and drive advertising revenue from key clients, including direct brands and media agencies.
  • Develop and execute a strategic approach to unlock value from our existing and prospective Dutch client base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams - including Content, Social, Marketing, and others - to craft tailored commercial offerings.
  • Represent Snack Media with professionalism and authority, delivering impactful presentations and maintaining strong client relationships.


Additional Responsibilities


  • Take full ownership of your territory, using your network and experience to grow revenue streams.
  • Build and manage relationships with Agency Trading Desks, educating them on our programmatic offering and identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • Be a visible and credible representative of Snack Media in the marketplace.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, capable of inspiring and influencing stakeholders at all levels.


What You'll Need to Succeed


  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
  • Experience working at a publisher, DSP, ad network, agency, or trading desk.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • A proven track record of leadership and personal accountability.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the digital advertising landscape.
  • A minimum of 5 years' media sales experience with strong contacts in the Dutch market.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Charismatic, dynamic, and influential, with excellent presentation skills.
